Oral Presentation 2009開講

４月９日（木）４時限。2009年の第１講目は大学院の Oral Presentation。

今年は、Writing Workshopの考え方を導入したOral presentationの授業を実施する予定。定義は、"The Writing Workshop is a method of teaching writing using a workshop method. Students are given opportunities to write in a variety of genres and helps foster a love of writing. The Writing Workshop allows teachers to meet the needs of their students by differentiating their instruction and gearing instruction based on information gathered throughout the workshop." 初日はOrientation。プレゼン "Presentation changes your future"で、「プレゼンテーションていったい何？」「良いプレゼン、つまらないプレゼン、どこが違う？」などをテーマとしたグループディスカションをはさみながら、プレゼンを進め、presentationとは何かを考えてもらった。その後、シラバスの説明。一斉形式の講義ではないことを確認。最後に、プレゼンできそうなネタ探し。テーマ「伝えたいことがあるんだ」。まずは、個人で考え、その後、ペアで話しあい。熱を帯びて語っている学生、紙とにらめっこして一行も書けない学生、イメージマップを書いている学生と、様々でした。次回は、「お気に入り」の一品をもってきて、自己紹介をするshow and tellでmini-presentationの予定。
